De Havilland Mosquito - Monogram 1:48

FAST, LETHAL and WOODEN…

The De Havilland Mosquito was one of the most versatile aircraft of WW2. Only the German JU-88 was considered to be equal to the Mosquito. This British twin-engine aircraft gained fame in WW2 of its unique wooden wings and fuselage and it was the all wooden construction which inspired the Press to give the nickname “Wooden Wonder”. The Mosquito was also known as “Mossie” to its crews. It served in a variety of roles with great success, as a night and day bomber, long range photo-reconnaissance, mine layer, pathfinder, high speed military transport, long range day and night fighter and fighter bomber. It was a really multi-purpose aircraft. It served in Europe, the Midle and Far East and on the Russian front. The first Mosquito flew in November 1940, production continued until 1947 and almost 7.781 were built.
Mosquito fighters accounted for 487 German aircraft during the war. Some of the most successful RAF pilots flew this type.

F7F-3N "Tigercat" - AMT/ERTL 1:48

A little history first
In 1941 the U.S. Navy was interested for a twin-engined fighter operating from aircraft carriers. Grumman Company won the contract and the Tigercat F7F program was born. The plane would enter service in 1944, but it became obvious that it was too big to operate from carrier decks. The Navy lost its interest and the planes were delivered to the Marines. The planes arrived very late at the Pacific, so they didn’t see any action. They saw action in the Corean War as attack aircrafts or night fighters. They were withdrawn from service in 1954.
The -3N version was equipped with a radar, radome and a second cockpit for the radar operator. The 50cal. machine guns at the nose were removed and were replaced with 4 20mm cannon at the wing roots.

P-51D Mustang FAS (Fuerza Aérea Salvoreña) - Dragon 1:32

 Hello friends
this time I decide to build up one of my favorite airplanes the famous P-51D Mustang. Since when I was kid I always admired it's shape and the engine's sound but didn't like much their bare metal finish. Few years ago I saw a documentary on History Channel about the "100 hours war" or better know as "the soccer war" between Honduras & El Salvador in 1969; A very interesting war because meanwhile U.S.A.F. and other countries were fighting with jet fighters in Vietnam this war was made with W.W. II era airplanes from both sides. There were flying Mustangs, Corsairs, Dakotas etc

U-boat Type VIID - AFV 1:350

Hello everybody!

My latest construction is quite far from what I usually do. It has to do with a German U-boat type VIID, the U-213 to be precise. Because of a tight schedule and not being involved with the hobby for quite sometime , I wanted something small , easy and quick to finish, so as  to catch up with things again and  wake up  from the lethargic modeling sleep that I had fallen into.

Jagdpanzer E-10 - Trumpeter 1:35

The Entwicklung series, more commonly known as the E-series, was a late-World War II attempt by Germany to produce a standardized series of tank designs. There were to be standard designs in six different weight classes, from which several specialized variants were to be developed. This intended to revert the trend of extremely complex tank designs that had resulted in poor production rates and mechanical unreliability. The E-10 was one of this series  which was meant to replace Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer.
