U.S.S.R. Kilo class Trumpeter 1/144

Hello my friends,
it's first time i ever try to build a submarine since now and I must say that it's was very intresting. I select a Trumpeter's kit in 1/144 due it's low cost and the quite nice assembling as it was my first attempt at this kind of modeling.

After searching into the net I found that the biggest kit's error was that there aren't that panels which eliminate the sub's echo; So I decide to make them with a metal ruler, a pencil and my scriber. All the rest kit is ok like dimensions and general shape. I used Gunze lacquer colors and the Hull Red of Lifecolor's acrylic paint set for Kriegsmarine's boats. For the weathering I used Mig's sets (washes & filters)

After the final color layers I add some flags made by bicomp. putty and some sailors' figures in 1/144 in resin by NorthStar Models
